About the panel:
Today’s working environment is characterized by a fast pace and the expectation to always deliver top performance. However, performance pressure and stress can also have tremendous negative effects on employees (mental) well-being.
Our experts panel will discuss what the actual prerequisites for strong performance are, how a healthy culture can contribute and how a culture of well-being can be nurtured and sustained.
The panelists will talk about their own experiences and share best practices in dealing with mental health at the workplace whilst maximizing team performance.
About the panelists:
Felix Berghöfer
Group Head of HR, Builtech
After studying psychology, Felix started his career as an independent consultant specializing in HR and organizational development. He has held key positions at Zalando, Visual Meta and Urban Sports Club, where he led HR teams and implemented strategic initiatives. From scaling teams to promoting diversity to setting up performance reviews, there’s little he hasn’t done in his career. Currently at Builtech, Felix oversees HR operations for a conglomerate that includes 29 companies and over 1,500 employees.
Julia Carloff-Winkelmann
CHRO, BuildingMinds
Julia is a seasoned professional with a diverse skill set spanning HR, communications and B2B leadership. Her successful career includes roles such as Head of Talent Acquisition at Ebay, VP People & Workplace at Soundcloud, and Chief People Officer at Dance. Currently serving as Chief Human Resources Officer at BuildingMinds, Julia is known for her adept leadership in dynamic environments, coupled with a strong commitment to personal and organizational development. She is also a trained coach and mindfulness trainer with a commitment to organizational and personal development.
Michael Becher
CPO, AviMedical
Michael has a highly successful track record in the European startup and scale-up landscape, focusing on employee experience, leadership and organizational development to support business growth. Notable roles include Head of HR at Booking.com, where he led multi-national teams, implemented global initiatives and provided legal advice, and Global Head of Employee Experience at N26, where he drove organizational transformation and diversity initiatives. For the past two years, Michael has served as CPO at AviMedical, shaping progressive HR strategies and fostering a vibrant workplace culture.
